Best New Books Coming Out This Week

It's the last week of the year, and the publishing world is going out strong in 2016! Some of these new books will tug at your heart strings, while others will make your heart beat faster in suspense. Some will introduce you to brand new worlds and some will take you back to places and people you have visited before. Each week I try to create a list that is a mixture of well known as well as less knows authors. It's fun to try out a new book or author, you never know what interesting treasures you will find between the covers of a book!

New Books This Week You Won't Want To Miss
Whether you are looking for cute books for children, marvelous middle grade reads, exciting young adult books, suspenseful adult fiction, or wonderfully creative non-fiction books I'm sure you will find something on you list that is just right for your reading pleasure today.

During the holiday break, my kids have been reading up a storm. They have enjoyed opening their new books they got for Christmas and diving into the stories. My youngest has been asking for the second Upside-Down Magic book for almost a year and was ecstatic to find it under our tree. When she saw me making this list she couldn't believe that the third one is out already and wants to run to the bookstore to pick up a copy. I love having kids who enjoy reading!

There are two books on this weeks list that I can't wait to read! Ally Carter's new Embassy Row novel will be arriving on my doorstep today and I will soon be found cozied up on the couch wearing my new socks and reading this fabulous final book in the series. I'm also looking forward to brand new author Erin Summerill and her book Ever the Hunted. Even better, I get to meet her this Thursday at an author event at a local library! You can expect to hear about both books in the coming weeks.

Now for my list of the best books that are being published this week. I really could have added quite a few more to each section of books, there are some really great ones out this week. I tend to find quite a few extra in the non-fiction section. I'd love to hear which genres of books you are most interested in so I can add a few more of those to my lists for you. Let me know in the comments below!
