I'm sure you've heard the saying "You can't judge a book by its cover." Good advice, but the cover will give you a good or bad first impression of the book. I love seeing the reveal of new covers, it ups the anticipation of the release of the book. And when it's a book by a great author I already love to read? That makes it even more exciting!

Marie Lu is the bestselling author of the Legend series and The Young Elites series. Such well written, engaging books that aren't predictable and keep you guessing what will happen next. I've seen some YA authors on Twitter say how much they were looking forward to Marie Lu's newest book.

Today I saw the cover and fell in love. The colors, the style, the intricacy of the interlocked letters of the title. Yes, I think the first impression of Warcross is a good one!
