I'm glad to be part of this book tour for this cute and fun new book 15 Minutes by Larissa Reinhart. I like the cozy mysteries, they are a bit lighter, have less violence, and pretty tame when it comes to romance. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, I had a few laugh out loud moments, and I was caught up in trying to figure out what happened to the missing person in the mystery.

In 15 Minutes, reading about Maizie and her antics in her small hometown of Black Pine, Georgia was entertaining. Larissa Reinhart writes a light and fun book with a bit of mystery and co-star crushing.

Miazie is a bit innocent and naive, she thinks the best of people and doesn't seem to see when they are up to no good. Not a great trait for a detective right? The thing is, she sees connections between things and is able to charm people into talking with her and opening up about confidential information. So while at the beginning of her training as a detective she might be lacking in experience and being jaded, she has the right instincts and can use her fame to her advantage.

Maizie has a lot to deal with - being forced to leave Hollywood by a judge, returning to live with an estranged father, proving herself as a detective to an already established PI, a mother who is also her manager and uses every trick in the book to make Maizie's life miserable, and the reporters following her around and making up stories about her. Through it all, she stays strong, finds some friends to support her, helps solve the case, and possibly even finds a bit of romance!
