Weekends are always full of family time, but I make certain that I have a bit of time for reading too. I'm sharing the books that I took a reading journey with this past weekend. Maybe they will give you ideas on what books you might want to add to your To Be Read list.
You really can't read two books that are more different than the ones I read this weekend. One is dark, deadly, and magical; the other is soul searching and an ode to the love of books. Even though they are quite different, they both were ones that I would recommend to different audiences.

If you are looking for a good new book to read this month, you have come to the right place. I have found six new releases of adult fiction for October. Some will make you laugh, some will make you cry, and one might make you throw the book at the wall....or maybe that's just me.
Last month when I read a new adult fiction book, I fell in love (you can read about it here). When picking up a new book, you never really know what kind of experience you will have. A new book is a journey you are about to embark on.

New YA Books Published in October
At the start of each month, I check to see what new books are coming out that I want to add to my To Read list. I found 8 young adult books published throughout the month of October that I think sound very interesting.
These Young Adult or teen books are written for 13-18 year olds, but I personally read them quite often. A few of these authors are well knows, but don't forget to check out one of the authors you may have not heard of yet.

A new month means a whole bunch of new books to look forward to being published. Today I am sharing some of the middle grade books that will be published throughout the month of October.
If you know of a reader that is 8-12 years old, they might want to read one of these new books that are coming out in October. There are plenty of newly published books each month, this is just a sampling of the ones that we were excited about at our house.

There were some great books published in September. I anxiously awaited a few of the newly published books to come out so I could read them myself. See which ones I liked and the short reviews for them.
Early in September I wrote a post about new books that were going to be released in September (read the post here). Searching for new books to share with my readers got me excited to read some of the titles myself. I downloaded quite a few from the digital library that my local library has access to. Really, who doesn't love free books?
